I hired Brobee and Foofa from Yo Gabba Gabba to come to our 3 year old's birthday party. They were really cute and the costumes looked just like the characters. They did some music and dancing with the kids, which was a good fit for that age. I didn’t realize ahead of time that the characters don’t really talk, but it ended up being fine since the kids were happy with the music and having them there. The main thing for us was having characters that looked great and that part was definitely a success. It was fun seeing the kids get excited about having them at the party.

We had a small birthday party with about 8 kids at Fun Two Three Preschool in Encino and wanted to keep things simple. We booked their SpongeBob character for about 45 minutes, and he came out with some music and small toys for the kids. It was a really fun surprise and the kids were excited when SpongeBob showed up. The costume looked clean and well made, honestly similar to something you would expect to see at a theme park. Overall, it was a great experience with a local company.

Used them to rent a sonic character for an hour. Costume looked very nice and clean and the performer was good with the kids. He came with some little games for them to do and it was at their age level. Would have been nice to do some balloon animals but they said the company can't do them inside the costume which I get. Mostly I was impressed by the costume it looked really like sonic and seemed new.

We had Poppy and Branch at our daughter's 3rd birthday party. We had the party in a backyard in Azusa. The kids were excited to see them, and we got some nice pictures. They mostly danced and played music instead of talking, which was fine for this type of character. It was a nice touch to the party and a good fit for the younger kids. Bday girl loved it which was the main thing.

I used this place to rent the Trolls characters. They did a good job they brought music and played some games and gave away little toys to the kids. Kids were mostly about 3-5 so it was a good fit. Their Trolls costumes were in good condition and looked professional. It was a party at Roosevelt Elementary in Pasadena about 25 kids total. 1 hour seemed like enough but for that many kids next time we might do more.

We hired two characters from Bluey for our school event at Bright Horizons in Santa Monica. They were a huge hit with the kids. The costumes looked bright, colorful, and same as the cartoons characters without being overwhelming or scary for the smaller children. The entertainers did a great job keeping the preschoolers busy with fun music, simple games, and lots of interaction. The costumes were clean and looked brand new, which made the experience great for pictures. The kids were so excited to see Bluey and had a great time taking photos and playing with them during the activities. Parents were snapping pictures the whole time, and several people asked us where we found them. They were a great addition to our event, and we would definitely book again for future school character type parties. Seems like they have a pretty good selection of the popular characters.

We just used this company to bring in two Sesame Street characters, Cookie Monster and Elmo, for our party at Pizza Hub in Fremont. Honestly, we weren’t expecting a whole lot, but they really exceeded what we thought we were getting. They stayed in the party room with the kids the entire time, dancing and keeping everyone engaged from start to finish. The energy was great, and the kids stayed completely into it the whole time. The costumes looked amazing and matched exactly what we saw on the website. The performers also brought small toys and played Sesame Street party music, which fit the whole vibe perfectly.

We hired Paw Patrols from here. They did a good job and the costumes looked good. Party was at Lucky Strike in Orange, it was a crowded room but they made it work even with all the noise. Really good costumes looked just like the characters. Activities were basic and good for younger kids.

We had 3 Paw Patrol characters come out to our preschool in Encino to do a little program with the kids for 2 hours. They all love Paw Patrol and watch it every day so we knew they would be a big hit. The main thing I was concerned about was the quality of the costumes. I've been hiring characters for quite a while and my experiences have been mixed. Sometimes the costumes look good and sometimes not so much. Even if you see pics of the costumes on the company website sometimes they don't really match up in real life. I always use Fun Factory because after 3 times of renting their characters the quality of their mascots has always been really good, and the performers they send are always really good with the kids, not overly pushy and they give the kids space to relax in case any are scared. Seems like they have a lot of experience with younger kids and toddlers which is important. They bring the right type of games for the kids do, all easy stuff that even pre - schoolers can do. I like that they are reliable and good with communication throughout the process and leading up to the event day.

We had a fun time with this place. We just wanted to do something small for a few kids. We stay in Hollywood and we always eat at Raffallo's Pizza so we thought it would be a good idea to have the party there. The only issue was the amount of space because it's not normally a party venue so we had room for only about 12-15 kids. But we thought it would be a funny idea to have a party character come by even if it's just for a few minutes. We ordered the SpongeBob just to come over and take pics, cut the cake and of course sing happy birthday. We picked them mostly for their reviews and also their costume looked great. They did a fun job and the costume was the same as from their website. Even with the limited amount of space and all the background noise they made it work.

We rented the Cookie Monster adult-sized mascot costume for our son’s 4th birthday party, and it was a total hit! From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. The costume arrived on time, clean, and neatly packed with clear instructions for wearing and care. The quality was even better than I expected — super plush, vibrant blue, and looked just like the real Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. It fit comfortably (my husband is 6’1” and had no issues moving around), and the kids were ecstatic when Cookie Monster walked into the backyard! We had a fun little performance and took tons of pictures. The character really brought the magic to the party. Communication with the rental team was excellent. They answered my questions quickly and made sure everything was ready for our event. Return shipping was easy too — just repack and drop off. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the costume was; it smelled fresh and felt hygienic. If you're thinking about renting this mascot, DO IT. It truly made our celebration unforgettable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again for future events. Thank you for helping us create such special memories — and for giving our Cookie Monster-obsessed son the best birthday ever!

I found this place when I was trying to find somewhere I could buy or rent an adult sized Jessie from Toy Story type mascot costume. I couldn't find it anywhere and I was getting really frustrated. I went to all the costume stores in my area but no one had anything close to it. I was about to just give up and go with another costume theme and then I did some googling for "adult sized toy story mascots" and this place came up I think on the first page. I only saw pics of their Buzz and Woody suits but they both looked great, so I emailed to see if they also had a Jessie available. So glad I did!!! They not only had a Jessie mascot available but it looked AWESOME!!! And even better they had one available for Halloween which was amazing!!! Totally excited I put in my order and crossed my fingers that this was a legit company and that I would actually receive the product and get it in time for Halloween. Everything was perfect!! Costume actually came about 48 hours BEFORE I needed it which gave me plenty of time to try it on, make sure it fit (it fit great!) and practice getting used to wearing it before I had to go out in public and wear it for hours at a party and a mini costume parade. This is honestly the best looking Jessie toy story mascot I have EVER seen!! I can't believe there is a place online where you can rent this stuff and they will send it right to your house! Costume was sparkling clean and in perfect condtion, these are some pics I took for my blog before going out to wear it in public for the first time, you can see it looks amazing and absolutely no wear and tear of any kind. This place made my Halloween and their customer service was smooth and super easy. I will definitely be using them again for future Halloween parties and who knows maybe even some stuff for the younger kids in my family since they have so many cool costumes available!

Our school had a big parent / student fair for back to school this year. We don't do this every year but this was a little big of a bigger deal because we've been transitioning from online learning back into real time classroom, which is SO much better for kids of our age ranges. We really wanted to do a nice "welcome back" type thing so we had a fundraiser and got the parents and some neighborhood community businesses and other organizations to pitch. It was really unbelievable how everyone stepped up to help make this possible. I had gotten in touch with Fun Factory about 2 months before our event to see if there was anything they would be able to do to help us with our event. They offered to give us a very good price on hiring a live Elmo character to come out to meet the kids at our event. That was perfect and their price was very reasonable and fit within our budget. On the day of the event it couldn't have gone any better, with Elmo there meeting the kids and parents and posing for pictures during the event. Everyone loved it and it was a great fit for our back to school event. We really appreciated that Fun Factory was willing to work with us on price, and not only that they really came through for us with sending a great quality Elmo mascot character. Really nice to have the support of a local business during times like these!

We found this place when I was looking for somewhere to hire a live Cocomelon entertainer. Unfortunately there aren't many places in this area that offer that character. An office friend referred me to this company and luckily they had a Cocomelon available. Good thing I got in touch with them a month ahead of time because that character is hard to find and is often sold out, but yay they had it on our party date. The price was a little bit higher than I was expecting to pay, I've seen other character companies that charge like $250 or so for an hour. This place charges $350 but in a way it's kind of understandable because their performer had to drive about 60 miles each way to reach us so 120 miles total which is a lot of time and gas, so we were willing to pay a little bit more than normal. Worked out great, the Cocomelon came right on time and omg the costume was AMAZING!!! I honestly wasn't expecting to be able to find a Cocomelon mascot of this high a quality level. Not only that but the performer was great, she brought along enough stuff to do with the kids to keep them busy for an hour. Took plenty of pics and everyone had fun even the adults as you can see! I can easily leave 5 stars even though the price was high, the quality of the costume and service was totally worth it!

We just rented a super cute life sized Snoopy mascot costume from this place. It was for a kid's all day event with about 150 kids for a combo school event and family day fund raiser. It was a surprise that we were bringing in a costume character but we didn't have a lot of money to spend because it was a fund raiser so we went the most cost effective route and just rented the suit. A couple of the parents and one of the teachers took turns wearing it during the event. You can see in the pics that the costume is super high quality. Very professional looking and in excellent shape. The kids loved it, everyone got a chance to meet Snoopy and we got tons of great pics for our newsletter. The price of the rental was under $250 and we got to have the costume for 3.5 days so it more than covered the time span of our event. It was a super fun addition and something we would definitely consider doing again. The company made it easy to order and kept in touch with us the whole time leading up to the event.

I found this place online when I was looking for somewhere that had Toy Story theme birthday party entertainment to hire. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, at first I was thinking of ordering maybe a bouncy castle with Toy Story theme. When I checked out their website I saw that they also offer birthday party characters and they have a really cool Woody and Buzz Lightyear mascot! I was really excited. When I found out the price I decided to just do Woody because the kids are only 3-4 years old and we only had about 12 kids, just a small backyard party so no need to go super over the top. We rented a Woody mascot performer to come out and entertain the kids for an hour. He did some fun music and games from Toy Story and also gave away little party favors and took pics with everyone. The Woody costume looked awesome, super professional and clean and definitely worth the money. For a Toy Story theme party you can't really ask for something better than this.

I used this company to hire a live Elmo costume character. The party was for a 4 year old boy and a bunch of his friends and family. Elmo came out to the party for an hour and played some sesame street games and took pics with all the kids. The Elmo mascot costume looked great. The lady wearing it did a good job. There was real sesame street music along with the elmo show which really added to the sesame street theme.

I rented a Cocomelon kids party mascot from this company for a little gir's 4th bday party. Had the party in our backyard, just a few guests due to covid. Everything was fine, the costume was in excellent condition. The staff person who came to perform for the kids was named Julie, she did a great job. She was friendly, calm and patient. We got lots of fun pics and the activities she brought were very kid friendly for children of that age range. It was easy to order and communicate with them. For the price they charge they did a good job.

I rent a Frozen Olaf party character and princess theme bouncer for a little gir's 4th bday. We did the whole thing in Frozen theme so it all blended together. For the Olaf character the person came out in a full body Olaf style mascot costume and did a bunch of party games and songs from Frozen. The stuff they did was good for the ages of the kids. The Bouncer looked really cute it was like a princess style castle in girl colors. We had both boys and girls at the party but all the kids had fun. Communication with the company was pretty easy, they got back to me fast and kept in touch up to my party day. One thing I liked was instead of having to call a bunch of different places I could get everything from one place in just a few emails.

I was so happy to find Fun Factory Parties because we have a really small backyard, and I wasn't sure we'd be able to fit a bounce house at all. I called several other companies, and they all told me they didn't have anything that would work in our space. Fun Factory had a small white castle bounce house that fit perfectly and was just right for the kids' ages. The booking process was simple, and they were easy to work with from start to finish. The delivery cost a little more than I expected since we're in Newport Beach, but they explained the extra travel fee upfront. Honestly, it was worth every penny because they were the only company that had a bounce house that actually fit our yard. The kids had an amazing time, and I'd definitely rent from them again

We recently held a big school fundraiser in June and wanted to create a fun experience where the kids and families could all enjoy the day together. Since the event was at Golden Gate Park, we had plenty of room to include a few different activities. We decided to add pony rides for the children along with a jumper, and we booked both through the same company. They did a wonderful job with everything from start to finish. The pony rides were definitely one of the highlights of the day. The ponies arrived with two staff members who helped manage the experience for about 65 kids throughout the event. They were friendly, professional, and made sure everything stayed organized and safe. The kids had such a great time, and the park was the perfect location for the setup. The jumper was also a big success. It was clean, spacious, and the setup was simple. They even helped us work through the permit process, which was a huge help since planning a school event already comes with so many details. I really appreciated being able to work with one company for multiple parts of the fundraiser instead of having to contact several different vendors. It made everything easier to coordinate and allowed us to spend more time enjoying the event with our students, families, and school community.

I found this place when I was trying to hire a giant waterslide. We had the party in our backyard in Milpitas. It was a great looking slide, actually much bigger than I thought it would be but it still fit well in our backyard space. Plenty of room for the kids to go on, it was easy to set up and easy to use. Perfect for a hot day and the price was pretty reasonable considering how big it was.

Got a great inflatable jumper with slide from this place. It was huge, perfect for a big group of kids. A good price for the size of the jumper we got. Their setup was good and they even suggested that we find a place a little bit more shade to keep the kids comfortable which I had not thought about before. Their guy Alex got everything ready and even staked it down even though there wasn't a lot of wind which I thought was very considerate. We had 35 kids and we had the party at Mountain View Park over in Chino and they were able to help us with the whole process including getting the permit, insurance etc. Very professional and easy to work with.

I rented a little toddler size bouncy house from here. I couldn't find a lot of places that actually delivered to Palo Alto so I was glad when I found them. Also we had the party at Mitchell Park so we needed not only the bouncy but also a generator to make sure we had power for it. Lucky the had both available. Their selection of jumpers was very good, the main thing I wanted to make sure was that it would be the right size for little kids. They size and style they had were perfect for our group which was mostly pre - schoolers and kids under 7. They loved it, it was in great shape and they got everything ready in plenty of time. Very happy with both the jumpy as well as the service.

We had a kid's day event at Learning Lab Preschool in Irvine this past Easter. We wanted to rent a toddler friendly inflatable for the kids to be able to play on. We found a perfect one on their website and arranged delivery by email. The jumper looked great, with kid - friendly colors and it seemed to be in almost new condition. Great size and style for a bunch of toddlers and the price was in our budget even though they added $20 for delivery to our area.

This place was cool. I had to organize an event for our school Newman Elementary in Chino and we wanted a couple different things. Mostly we wanted some type of combination jumper like a bouncer with a slide or something like that. This place had a lot of options and we ended up finding a really big one that could fit maybe 25 kids at once with both a good sized jumper and an attached slide about 22' tall. It worked great and the kids were on it the whole time, 6 hours. Price included delivery and setup. We also had someone from Fun Factory come in to do balloon animals and some face painting and she was great with the kids. Did a lot of kids in a short time which I'm sure wasn't easy but she did a great job.

We recently rented a combo bounce house with a built-in slide for a kids party, and it turned out to be a great choice. The size was perfect for the group we had, with plenty of room inside so the kids weren’t overcrowded. What I really liked was that the slide was designed in a way that even the younger kids could climb up and come down on their own without needing constant help, which made things a lot easier for everyone. The unit itself looked really good in person—exactly like the photos online—and it was super clean, which is always something we pay attention to. It felt sturdy and secure the entire time, so we didn’t have to worry while the kids were playing. They were on it pretty much nonstop, going back and forth between the bounce area and the slide. Delivery and setup were smooth and right on schedule. The crew handled everything quickly and made sure it was positioned properly. They also took care to secure it well and were mindful of the yard. When they came back to pick it up, everything was just as easy and organized, and there was no damage to the grass at all, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a really positive experience. The setup looked great, the kids had a blast, and everything ran exactly how you’d hope. Definitely something we’d do again for another party.

I loved the unicorn style pony I rented from here! It looked super cute and it was perfect for our whole party theme which was Disney Princess. We had a Disney themed pink castle bouncer and we ordered a pink unicorn pony and it was amazing! Jessica who came out with the pony was so sweet and patient with the kids. She did a fantastic job and everyone especially my daughter was thrilled. It was so sweet to see how much the kids were in love with the pony, and the pony was so cute and gentle and well trained for children. EVerything went just how I had hoped and seeing the smile on my daughter's face when she got to sit on the pony was worth every penny. These are the special moments that every parent loves to see. So glad we hired Fun Factory, my daughter and I are huge fans now! She's already asking when the pony is coming back lol!

We had a mini pony and petting zoo at my son's birthday in our backyard in Anaheim, and it worked out really well. The pony was a great size for the younger kids, so they weren't intimidated at all. Most of them were just as excited to pet and feed it as they were to take a ride. The staff was easygoing and kept everything moving without making it feel rushed. Even the kids who didn't want to ride the pony spent a lot of time with the animals and had a great time.

We just hired the unicorn pony for my daughter's birthday, and it was one of the highlights of the day. The pony was absolutely adorable, calm, and super gentle with all of the children. Everything felt well organized and safe, which made us able to relax and enjoy the kids with the pony. The pony handler lady Genna was really sweet with all the kids and took the time to make sure everyone had a safe and fun experience. They even brought little helmets for the younger kids, which really shows how much they care about safety. The unicorn decorations on the pony were super cute. It was exactly what we were looking for, and the kids loved the pony.

I got in touch with them to arrange balloon animals and face painting for a last-minute event. They were very responsive and made the booking process easy, which was important since we didn't have much time to plan. Everything was confirmed within a couple of hours. The clown twister they sent was a great fit for the event — he was funny, friendly with the kids, and made fantastic balloon creations. He kept things moving and was able to make balloons for all 42 children during the two-hour event. We were very happy with the experience and would use them again.

We had a small petting zoo come out for our backyard party and the kids really enjoyed it. The animals were a good fit for the younger children, with baby goats, chickens, bunnies, and a sheep. They brought everything needed and set up a small fenced area where the kids could visit with the animals. The staff was helpful with keeping things organized and making sure the kids had a good experience. Setup and cleanup were quick. We didn’t realize they needed driveway access for setup, so we had to move a few cars around, but it was an easy fix. Overall, it was a fun addition to the party and the kids loved getting to see the animals up close.

We had them come out to Little Treehouse Preschool in Northridge for a petting zoo, and this was actually the second time we've booked them. Since we'd used them before, we already knew what to expect, which made planning easy. They set everything up in a fenced area with ground cover, so it stayed neat and worked well for our space. We don't have a huge outdoor area, and that's one of the reasons this has been such a good fit for us. The animals are smaller, but that's exactly what we want for preschoolers. They were gentle, the kids enjoyed meeting and feeding them, and it was a nice activity for our students.

I found this petting zoo for a small birthday party we had over the summer, and it was such a great experience. We only had about 12 kids, most of them toddlers and preschoolers, so I wanted animals that would be gentle and a good fit for their age. They brought adorable bunny rabbits, baby chicks, small goats, and a sweet little sheep that was incredibly calm around the children. I was impressed with how clean everything was and how well the animals seemed to be cared for. The staff arrived on time, got everything set up quickly, and made the whole experience feel easy and organized. They were friendly, patient with the kids, and made sure everyone had a chance to interact with the animals safely. The children absolutely loved meeting and petting the animals, and we ended up with some really cute photos. It was exactly the kind of simple, hands-on activity we were hoping for, and I would definitely recommend them for a party with younger kids.

We had a really fun experience this year at our annual school event. We held it this year at Castaways Park Newport Beach, and it worked out really well because there was plenty of space for all the activities we had planned. One of the biggest highlights was the pony rides. They brought three beautiful ponies along with three staff members who were friendly, patient, and wonderful with the kids. They took the time to explain how everything worked, made safety a priority, and helped each child feel comfortable before riding. The ponies were incredibly calm and gentle, especially with the younger children. It was one of the busiest stations all day, and hearing the kids laugh and seeing their excitement made it a huge success. We'd definitely invite them back for another school event.

We found a face painter from here for a kid's birthday party at Kiddo Adventure in San Mateo. We had around 25 kids between 5 and 8 years old, so it was a pretty busy afternoon, but she handled it really well. She was patient, easy to talk to, and did a great job with the face painting. Our school held its annual event at Irvine Regional Park, and face painting is one activity we always make sure to include because it's such a big hit with the kids. This was our second year booking Fun Factory Parties, and once again they did a fantastic job. We had two face painters who arrived on time with everything they needed and kept the line moving without making the kids feel rushed. In just two hours they painted close to 60 faces, and the artwork looked amazing. The kids were excited to choose their own designs, and the painters were incredibly patient and friendly with everyone. We ended up with so many great photos from the event, and we're really glad we chose Fun Factory Parties again. We'll definitely be booking them for future school events.

We had a family get together for our school at Brace Canyon Park in Burbank and wanted something fun that both the kids and parents could enjoy together. We hired a balloon twister who also did face painting, and it was a great addition to the event. The entertainer was friendly, funny, and kept everyone entertained while making some really impressive balloon creations. Even though it was a sunny day outdoors, he handled everything like a pro and kept the line moving. We had around 40 kids, and the 2 hour package was just about perfect for everyone to get balloons and face painting. It really added a lot of fun to our event, and we'd definitely recommend Fun Factory Parties for family events in Burbank.

This place did a good job at our recent event. We hired them for 3 hours to have someone come and twist balloons at our annual kid's day. It's a bit of a fund-raiser but also a community event. We do this every year for Magnolia Science Academy. We are based in Santa Ana but they have a local branch he was coming from Anaheim so not that far and they waived their mileage charges because we booked 3 hours which I thought was nice. Their website is a little bit complicated to use but they were very responsive by email and phone.

Recently used this place to hire a magician and jumpy castle. Our party was at Mitchell Park near Palo Alto and we had a whole bunch of kids there so we really needed some cool stuff for them to do for about 4 hours. We weren't sure what to get because it's a big age range of kids but they did a good job of guiding us in the right direction. I was surprised how good the magician was, he got a little stage set up and kept the kids involved for about 45 minutes and then stayed and made balloon animals. I appreciate that I could just get everything in one place instead of having to spend a lot of time clicking around.

I was asked to help organize entertainment for a work party, and I’ll admit right away that kids’ party planning is not usually my thing. Most of our company events are adults only, so I wasn’t really sure where to even begin. After a little searching online, I found Fun Factory and decided to give them a try. What I really appreciated right away was how easy they were to talk to. Instead of pushing a bunch of expensive extras, they asked normal, practical questions—how many kids were coming, what ages they were, how big the party would be, things like that. It honestly felt like they were trying to help me figure out what would actually work best, not just sell me a long list of add-ons.Their website was also very simple to navigate, which was helpful since I was trying to handle this in between a million other tasks. I requested a quote and had a detailed written response in about half an hour. Out of the four companies I contacted, they were easily the fastest to respond. When I asked for a phone call, they called me back right away, which I really appreciated. The other places were more of the back-and-forth email and voicemail situation, which can get frustrating when you're on a deadline. They suggested a few entertainment options that made a lot of sense for our event, and we were able to finalize everything in under an hour. As a busy mom, that alone was a huge win for me. It meant I could check one more thing off my list and move on to the rest of the planning. They also stayed in touch leading up to the event and even followed up afterward to see how everything went. That level of communication really stood out. Even if their price was maybe a little higher than one or two of the other companies I looked at, the time saved and the smooth experience made it completely worth it.We ended up booking Minions characters, a balloon twister, and a magician, and they were all fantastic. The kids were thrilled, parents were happy, and everything ran right on schedule. From my experience, this is a company you can trust to do exactly what they promise.

I really like using this company because they offer so many things. I've hired them a couple times for different types of entertainment, once for a clown and once for a mobile petting zoo. This time around we were doing something for older kids 14-16 so that type of thing wasn't going to work. We didn't really want to bring in any entertainers but obviously we still wanted to do something that would highlight the bday girl and make the party special. Since I've worked with this place before, I just sent them a quick email asking for some suggestions. They got back to me right away and after asking me a few questions about what I was looking for, pointed me in the direction of someone they work with who does these really amazing floral pattern arrangements. Since we definitely wanted to have a photo type stand at the party, that seemed like an awesome pairing. They sent us email picture samples and ideas, we picked out a few and they were delivered on our party date early in the morning so we had plenty of time to get everything set up for the photos the way we wanted. The stuff they came up with was really cute and creative and each piece was unique, based on our party color theme and the size and style we told them we wanted. Very worth the price and lots of great personal service. It's hard to find a place these days that really works with you from start to finish on helping you get your style right, and now that I've had a few great experiences with funfactory I'm definitely able to leave a review saying each one of them has been worth it.

I just used Fun Factory to hire a magician for our 6 year old girl's bday party. We had the party at our home in Culver City in our backyard. I wasn't sure if a magic show would be the best choice for kids that age because of their attention spans but Magic Steve did a great job. He was friendly and kept the pace going nicely and he had a lot of volunteers from the crowd to help him out. It was really fun and I was happy and surprised to see that pretty much all the kids actually stayed and watched the whole show. The company was very easy to work with and answered all my q's and stayed in touch through the party date and even after to make sure we were happy. Seems like a good commitment to customer service and I can definitely say the magician did a good job.

In a city filled with extravagant birthday party options, one experience that continues to charm both children and parents in Los Angeles is a pony ride and mobile petting zoo rental. This delightful setup offers something refreshingly real — a hands-on, outdoor celebration that combines fun, learning, and genuine excitement. The experience begins with the arrival of a gentle pony, perfectly sized and trained for young children. The thrill on the kids’ faces is immediate. Each child gets a turn to ride while trained handlers ensure the pony is calm, and the rider is comfortable and safe. Helmets are provided, and extra care is given to shy or first-time riders, making sure everyone enjoys the moment. Alongside the pony rides is the mobile petting zoo — a mini animal sanctuary brought directly to your home or party venue. The enclosure typically includes a range of friendly animals like rabbits, ducks, goats, chickens, and sometimes even a mini pig or alpaca. Kids are encouraged to feed, pet, and interact with the animals under careful supervision, creating a magical, educational environment. Parents love that the entire service is mobile and hassle-free. The company handles everything — from setting up enclosures to cleaning up afterward. Whether the celebration is at a park, in your backyard, or at a rented space, the team adapts smoothly to the surroundings. This type of party goes beyond entertainment. It helps children develop empathy, encourages curiosity about animals, and creates memories that feel authentic and joyful. In an era of screens and fast-paced distractions, a pony and petting zoo party offers a rare chance for kids to connect with the natural world. For Los Angeles families seeking something different and meaningful, this is the perfect birthday choice.

I recently hosted a kids party for a group of 5-6 year olds. We had it at Harvey West park in Santa Cruz. There were maybe 25 kids in that age range there. We thought it would be fun to give them something to do other than just run around the park, so we ended up hiring a professional magician entertainer and a bouncer rental from this place. The magician had to come from San Jose but he showed up right on time. The bouncy house was local and was also on time, actually about 2 hours ahead of time which was just great. Some of the kids were early and they got plenty of time to jump and go crazy inside it. The magician did a great children's magic show, it was fun and funny and got everyone involved. For the price we paid it was worth it, they charged about $50 extra for his fee to come to santa cruz but it was still good for the budget and especially as a way to entertain a whole bunch of children at the same time. Magic Dave was really funny and he definitely knows how to retain the attention spans of children. Hope we can hire him again, maybe for a birthday party or a xmas event.

I used this place to find a kids party magician for a birthday we had at our house. We had a group of about 15-20 kids pretty much ages 8-12. We wanted to try to find something that maybe the adults could do with their kids which isn't easy cuz a lot of kid's party stuff is not really going to be fun for grownups. So we ended up going with a magician because it seemed like maybe the best option for that type of thing. It was a good idea worked out really well. The guy who came out Theodor the Incredible was a lot of fun. We had told him ahead of time if he could maybe try to do something that would be good for both parents and kids. I would say he definitely was able to do that. His magic tricks were funny and actually kind of entertaining even for older people. He brought a few of the kids onstage to be his helper which was a nice touch. It's a bit higher budget than we normally spend I think it was a little bit under $400 or something close to that but for an hour of professional magic in your house I can understand. Especially cause the guy has to drive out almost an hour each way to get to the party so it makes sense. For a once a year type kids party treat if you want to do a magician I would recommend this place.

I actually found this place online when I was looking for a magician to hire for a kids party. I never hired a magician before so had no idea where to look. I saw this place and checked out their reviews and it seemed pretty good. The price was a little bit higher than I expected but what I liked is, they answered the phone right away and were really fast with their responses. That gave me a lot of confidence cause I absolutely did not want to be left hanging on the party date. Anyways it all worked out great, they sent a magician performer called Michael the Magnificent. He came out to the party and did about an hour show. It was fun and fast paced and worked out well. The kids had a good time and there was nothing to worry about as far as the guy coming on time etc. I had a good experience and would definitely recommend to someone looking for children's magic or entertainment.

I rented a children's magician entertainer from this place for a 8 year old party. We had maybe 18-20 kids or so. The kids were of different ages but all pretty much like 7-12 mostly. There were some parents that stayed to watch the show too. The guy who came out was named The Incredible Mickey. It was overall a pretty professional magic show and good for that ages of kids. It lasted about 45 minutes and then at the end he stayed and did some balloon animal twisting for most of the kids. It was a nice touch to end the magic show and also was nice that the kids got a little souvenir they could keep. For an hour or so it's a good party package, I think anything longer than that might be too much for younger kids.

We had got a magician from this company for a 8 year old boy's party. They sent over Magic Ron and he did a great job. All the kids had fun, he stayed after the magic show and did balloon animals for everyone even the adults hahah. Was a fun time and we got lots of nice pics since he made the bday boy his helper. I had got this place name from my friend who had hired them for her daughter's 6th bday they had sent out a princess elsa birthday party character and she did a good job. Seems like a good place to find fun stuff for kids to do at birthday parties.

THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE!!! I am extremely pissed off and disappointed. I booked this service for my party, and this person had the nerve to cancel THE DAY OF MY EVENT. Who does that?! I planned my party around having this service and was left scrambling at the last minute to figure something else out. But what makes this even worse is that I NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK! You canceled on me the day of my event, failed to provide the service I paid for, and I still haven't received my refund. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. People spend their hard-earned money planning special events, and you don't take someone's payment, cancel on them at the last minute, and then fail to return their money. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE. Save yourself the headache, stress, and potentially losing your money. Look elsewhere.

DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE!!! I am extremely pissed off and disappointed. I booked this service for my party and this person had the nerve to cancel THE DAY OF MY EVENT. Who does that?! I planned my party around having this service, and instead of giving me enough notice to find someone else, I was left scrambling at the last minute. If you knew you couldn't fulfill the booking, you should have said something BEFORE the day of the event. This was completely unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unacceptable. People's parties take time, money, and planning, and you don't just cancel on someone at the last minute like their event doesn't matter. I absolutely would NOT recommend this service. If you need someone reliable for your event, look elsewhere.

I found Fun Factory Parties online while looking for entertainment for our school end-of-year party at Mar Vista Park. We needed a face painter for a 3-hour event with a large group of kids, and I wasn’t sure how many children one person could realistically handle. I really appreciated that they listened to what we needed instead of trying to upsell us on something outside our budget. They took all the event details, followed up with a reasonable quote, and put everything in writing. The price they gave us was exactly what we paid. They told us one face painter should be able to handle around 60–70 kids, and we ended up with about 75 children, but they still got everyone taken care of. We were willing to go a little over budget if needed, but they worked with us and created a great package that fit our school event. The communication was easy, everything went smoothly, and we really appreciated their flexibility and professionalism.

We invited Poppy Trolls to surprise the kids at our end-of-year graduation at Everbright Montessori School in Chino, and it was such a sweet addition to the celebration. We wanted something fun and memorable to send the kids off, and it turned out even better than we hoped. Poppy spent time taking photos with everyone, dancing with the children, and making each child feel included. The kids were so excited when they saw her, and there were smiles everywhere. The costume looked clean, colorful, and in great condition, and the performer had wonderful energy that kept the kids engaged. It was a simple surprise that made a big impact, and we're so happy we chose Fun Factory Parties for our event at Everbright Montessori School.

We used them to hire Elmo and Cookie Monster characters for a 4 year old bday (with other kids 1-6). Their price was a little bit more than another company I called but their costume was a lot better and also I know they are coming from a little farther away (we are in Newport Beach) so it does make some sense. The characters showed up on time and costumes looked good like we were expecting. I don't mind using someone from a little farther away if it means they still come on time and have good quality costumes. Performers were energetic and helpful, stayed after for pics with the bday child and cake with the kids!

This place was really helpful with planning our daughter's 5th bday party. We did the whole style in a unicorn pony theme. It's a little bit hard finding a good place for this and it was a little more tricky because we had the party at Palisades Park in Santa Monica and they tons of rules and regulations about bringing animals to their park. Fun Factory was really helpful at each stage of the process, they helped us get settle with insurance and paperwork and got everything faxed over to the park for approval in plenty of time. We didn't have to worry about it because we knew everything was handled and we could focus on other parts of the party entertainment. We hired a super cute pink unicorn style bouncy house which went perfectly with the theme. The pony looked AMAZING! It was decorated with pink hair and flowers and of course the unicorn horn. It was just the right size for kids of that age and Genna the pony handler was awesome with the kids, super sweet and helpful. I really recommend Genna if you ask for her to be the pony attendant, she is terrific with children and keeps everything running smooth and of course safely with getting the kids off and on the pony. I'm so happy we went with this company, it ended up being exactly what we were looking for.

We had a really fun experience working with this company for a recent corporate event and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We decided to hire several costume characters for a meet-and-greet and walk-around, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire event. From the start, the booking process was simple and straightforward, and their team was easy to communicate with every step of the way. On the day of the event, all of the performers arrived together, right on time, and fully prepared. The costumes honestly exceeded our expectations—they looked clean, well-maintained, and very true to the characters. That was a big deal for us because we specifically didn’t want anything that looked worn out or low quality. Everything looked polished and professional, which really helped elevate the overall feel of the event. What stood out just as much as the appearance was the energy of the performers. The people in the suits were friendly, outgoing, and did a great job interacting with guests throughout the event. They kept things fun without being overwhelming and made it easy for people to jump in for photos and conversations. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free experience, and the level of service definitely matched what we were hoping for. For the quality, professionalism, and ease of booking, it was absolutely worth it, and we would definitely use them again for future events.

Owner's reply
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! We're delighted we could help make your last-minute event come together without the stress. Our team works hard to respond quickly and make the booking process as simple as possible, especially when time is limited.

We're also thrilled to hear the clown balloon twister was such a great fit. Keeping 42 children entertained while creating balloon animals for everyone in just two hours is impressive, and we're glad he helped make your event a success.

Thank you again for choosing Fun Factory Parties. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to helping you celebrate again in the future!

Found this place to hire a couple ponies to come out to our school event at Redondo Beach Montessori. They did a great job with both the ponies and the staff that supervised the kids. All the setup was on time and I appreciated that they took the time to make sure everything was cleaned up before they left and looked the same as when they arrived. We understand how important presentation is, especially at corporate events where everything needs to look polished and well put together. Just as important as the look of the characters is the experience they create, so we’re glad the performers made such a positive impression. Our team is trained to be friendly, approachable, and engaging without ever being overwhelming, and it sounds like they found that perfect balance at your event. Whether it’s interacting with guests, encouraging photos, or simply adding energy to the space, those small moments really help bring everything to life.

Thanks again for your kind words and for trusting us to be part of your event. We’d love to work with you again in the future and help make your next event just as fun and memorable.

Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful review about your experience. We’re really happy to hear that Poppy and Branch helped create such a fun and memorable celebration for your daughter. Our goal with every kids birthday party character visit is to bring energy, excitement, and a little bit of magic to the party, so it’s wonderful to hear that the kids had such a great time dancing, laughing, and interacting with the characters.

A party with around 18 children can be wonderfully lively, and it sounds like everyone enjoyed the experience in their own way. One of the things we always try to keep in mind with children’s birthday party entertainment is that kids of different ages participate differently. Some love jumping right into games and dancing, while younger children may simply want to watch, hug the characters, or stay close while taking it all in. Both reactions are perfectly normal, and our entertainers are trained to make sure every child feels comfortable and included during the visit.

We especially appreciate your kind words about the costume quality. When families are searching online for birthday party mascot characters for hire, one of the biggest concerns is how the characters will actually look in person. Photos on a website can help, but seeing the characters arrive at the party is the moment that really matters. We work hard to provide costumes that look bright, recognizable, and true to the characters kids know and love. Hearing that you were impressed when Poppy and Branch arrived means a lot to our team because we know how important that first impression is.

It’s also great to hear that the performers brought lots of energy to the party. Our character entertainers always aim to create a playful atmosphere where kids can dance, interact, and feel part of the celebration. Trolls characters like Poppy and Branch are especially fun for birthday parties because their music and personalities naturally encourage kids to move around and join the fun. Watching children dance and laugh with their favorite characters is one of the highlights of providing kids party entertainment.

We’re really glad that your daughter enjoyed the surprise so much. When a child sees their favorite character walk into their birthday party unexpectedly, the reaction is often priceless. Those moments are exactly why parents choose to hire birthday party characters for their celebrations. Seeing the birthday child light up with excitement is something we always hope for, and it sounds like Poppy and Branch helped create that magical moment for her.

Thank you as well for mentioning the communication and planning process. We understand that when parents are searching for kids birthday party entertainment near me, they want a company that is easy to reach and reliable throughout the process. Our goal is to make booking and planning as simple as possible so families can focus on enjoying the celebration rather than worrying about logistics. Confirming the party details the day before is one small step we take to help provide peace of mind that everything is set for the big day.

We also appreciate your honesty about comparing options before choosing us. Many parents spend time researching different companies when looking for birthday party character rentals, and we know that pricing can vary from place to place. Our focus has always been on providing high-quality costumes, friendly performers, and dependable service so families feel confident about their decision. Hearing that you felt the quality and service were worth the difference truly means a lot.

Most importantly, we’re happy that the characters added such a fun touch to the celebration. Birthday parties are all about creating joyful memories for children, and character visits often become one of the most talked-about moments of the day. From dancing and photos to hugs and playful interaction, these small moments often turn into lasting memories for both kids and parents.

We rented a pony from Fun Factory Parties for our backyard birthday in Palo Alto, and it was such a cute addition to the party. The pony was gentle, calm, and the perfect size for our group of kids, who were mostly between 3 and 6 years old. They had so much fun taking turns riding, petting, feeding the pony, and posing for pictures. The staff member who came along was wonderful with the children and made sure everything went smoothly and safely. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering they traveled all the way to our location. We'd definitely recommend them if you're looking for a pony rental in Palo Alto.

Owner's reply
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with the toddler bounce house rental in Palo Alto. We’re really happy to hear that everything worked out well for your party at Mitchell Park and that the setup was a good fit for your younger group of kids. Planning children’s events at parks in Palo Alto can sometimes involve extra coordination compared to backyard parties, especially when it comes to power access and setup logistics, so we’re glad we could help make the process easier for you.
One thing we hear often from families in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View, and surrounding Bay Area communities is that it can sometimes be difficult finding companies willing to deliver smaller inflatables to local parks, especially toddler-sized bounce houses. Many larger rental companies tend to focus mainly on oversized inflatables or bigger events, but we know there’s also a big need for smaller jumpers that are safer and more comfortable for preschool-age children and younger kids. We’re very happy that you were able to find an option that worked well for your party at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto.
We also appreciate you mentioning the generator rental because that’s actually a very common need for park parties throughout Palo Alto and the Bay Area. Locations like Mitchell Park often require generators for bounce houses since power outlets may not be nearby or accessible. Having both the inflatable and generator available together usually makes things much less stressful for parents since everything can be coordinated through one booking instead of dealing with multiple vendors. Park events in Palo Alto often require permits, setup timing, and careful space planning as well, so we always try to help simplify the process whenever possible.
It’s great hearing that the bounce house size worked perfectly for your age group. Younger children, especially preschoolers and kids under 7, usually do much better with inflatables that are designed specifically for toddlers rather than larger jumpers intended for older children. Smaller bounce houses tend to feel safer, easier to supervise, and more comfortable for little kids who may feel overwhelmed inside oversized inflatables. Families throughout Palo Alto, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Fremont, and San Jose often ask us for recommendations based on age group for exactly this reason.
We’re also very happy to hear that the inflatable arrived clean and in great condition. Cleanliness and maintenance are extremely important to us, especially for toddler parties and preschool events where parents naturally pay close attention to the condition of the equipment. Before deliveries throughout Palo Alto and the surrounding Bay Area, we regularly inspect and clean our inflatables so families can feel confident about the setup their children will be using.
Mitchell Park in Palo Alto is actually one of the more popular locations we see for children’s birthday parties because it provides a lot of open space while still being convenient for guests traveling from nearby areas like Stanford, Redwood City, Menlo Park, and Mountain View. The challenge with park parties is often making sure everything is delivered and ready well before guests arrive, so we’re glad to hear the setup timing helped your event start smoothly without any last-minute stress.
It’s also wonderful hearing that the kids enjoyed the bounce house throughout the party. For younger age groups, having a properly sized inflatable can make a huge difference because it keeps children entertained while still allowing parents to feel comfortable supervising the activity. Toddler bounce houses are especially popular in Palo Alto because many local birthday parties involve preschool-age children, smaller guest groups, and park-based celebrations where families want something fun but manageable.
Thank you again for the kind review and for allowing us to be part of your event at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto. We truly appreciate it!

We booked pony rides through Fun Factory Parties for a young child’s birthday celebration and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. The setup took place in our backyard at our house in Encino within a fenced area and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The ponies were calm, well cared for, and thoughtfully matched to the ages and sizes of the children which made everyone feel comfortable and safe. The staff was friendly and attentive, helping each child on and off while making sure everything ran safely throughout the event. The kids absolutely loved the pony rides and it added a really special touch to the party. Overall the entire process felt easy and reliable and we felt very comfortable booking with them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They brought out a little petting zoo to our party 2 weeks ago. We had to reschedule due to weather but they were fine about it. Good setup and fast to respond with questions, info etc. Seems like their prices are pretty reasonable, more or less the same as other companies but they offer more animals and different types of animals than the other places I called. We had a good setup with bunnies which were a big hit.

They did a great job, the animals were really nice looking and the staff and crew that came with them to set everything up and supervise the kids were friendly with the children and got everything all set up and ready to go ahead of time. The kids loved getting to interact with the animals and it was definitely worth it.

My 3 year old little girl just had a birthday party and our whole theme was Mickey & Minnie. She loves Minnie mouse it's her favorite character so we did the whole party with Mickey & Minnie decorations. We hired a couple characters to come for an hour and we also got this supercute Minnie Mouse bouncehouse. It was awesome, first of all it was HUGE much bigger than the average size bouncers I have rented in the past. It looked great and was totally clean. They came about 1.5 hours before the party so that by the time everyone else came it was all set up and out of the way. Really impressed with the quality of the bouncer and they gave us great service. We got a good deal on renting the whole package from them, plus it was easier than making a bunch of calls to a bunch of different companies. Just much less hassle and stress to be able to get everything at the same time from one place.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

We just hired Fun Factory Parties for a pony-themed birthday party at our home and had a great experience. We were looking for a smaller pony or mini horse that would be the right size for children between 4 and 9 years old, and the mini horse they brought was exactly what we were looking for. It was calm, gentle, and very comfortable around the kids, which helped everyone feel at ease. Tam, the lady who handled the pony, was wonderful with the children. She patiently helped each child get on and off, led them on short walks, and made sure everyone had time for photos. She was friendly, attentive, and great at keeping the kids engaged throughout the event. She also helped a few adults take pictures with the pony, which was a nice bonus. We hosted the party in our backyard in Pacific Palisades, and it worked out really well. If you're planning something similar, having some shade available is a good idea since the kids will be outside while waiting for their turns and enjoying the rides. We booked the pony for two hours, which ended up being plenty of time. Every child got a chance to ride and spend time with the pony, and the rides were the perfect length for younger kids. Overall, it was a fun addition to the party and one of the highlights of the day.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had such a wonderful experience with Fun Factory, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the customer service from start to finish. I called in to get a quote because I was planning a party and had a lot of questions about the different rental options they offered. I wasn’t exactly sure what would work best for our space or our budget, so I really appreciated being able to talk to a real person who took the time to walk me through everything.

Andrea answered the phone, and right away she made me feel comfortable and not rushed at all. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and very informative. I asked what felt like a million questions about different jumpers, package options, timing, and pricing, and she never once made me feel like I was being a bother. Instead, she carefully explained the differences between each option, gave me several quotes to compare, and truly tried to help me find the package that made the most sense for my party.
What really stood out to me was that Andrea didn’t just try to upsell me. She actually listened to what I needed and went out of her way to recommend something that fit our space, our guest count, and our budget. That kind of honesty and care is rare, especially when you’ve rented from other companies before and know how hit-or-miss customer service can be.

I also had a chance to speak with her manager, Angel, and the professionalism continued. Angel was just as kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, and together they made the entire booking process feel easy and stress-free. From the very first phone call, I felt confident that I had chosen the right company.

As someone who has rented party equipment from many different places over the years, I can honestly say that the customer service at Fun Factory is truly top notch. They made me feel valued as a customer, not just like another order on the schedule.

I will absolutely be using Fun Factory again for future parties, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable rentals and amazing customer service

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. While planning a children’s birthday party in Los Angeles, I came across this blog post about pony ride rentals and found it extremely helpful. Pony rides seem like a great option for the age group we’re hosting, especially for a home celebration.

I’m curious about space requirements and whether pony rides typically work well in standard Los Angeles backyards. Safety is also very important to us, so learning more about professional handlers, supervision, and how turns are managed would be appreciated.

I’d also love clarification on whether permits are required for private homes or parks in Los Angeles and if assistance is provided with that process. Lastly, information on pricing, availability, and recommended booking timelines would be great. Thank you for such a helpful resource.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

The kids loved it and the animals were great for their age range.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

We found a face painter from here for a kid's birthday party at Kiddo Adventure in San Mateo. We had around 25 kids between 5 and 8 years old, so it was a pretty busy afternoon, but she handled it really well. She was patient, easy to talk to, and did a great job with the face painting. The kids were excited to pick their designs, and they all looked really good. It was definitely one of the favorite parts of the party.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

The kids loved it and the animals were great for their age range.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
