Birthday Party Costume Character Rentals – FAQ’S!

Here are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about our mascot rentals:

 

BIRTHDAY PARTY MASCOT COSTUME CHARACTER RENTALS:  FAQ’S !

1) Q: WHAT SIZE DOES THE PERSON HAVE TO BE?

A: Good question! These costumes are made one-size-fits-all in adult sizes. That means that our costumes will fit any adult between 4’11” up to 6’3″. For the weight size, figure about a limit of 250 lbs. The only ones that are smaller are the Ninja Turtles costumes which have a spandex body suit and will fit up to about 225 lbs.

2) WHEN WILL MY MASCOT COSTUME ARRIVE?

A: Another good question!  If you order at least 10 days in advance, your costume rental will arrive 2-3 days prior to your event. Costumes are shipped UPS ground and can be shipped to a home, school or place of business.  Mascot costumes are shipped “shipper release” which means you do not have to be present to sign for them on arrival. However, CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE for the item. Fun Factory does not issue refunds for items lost or stolen after delivery. Please provide a safe delivery location if you do not plan to be present when costume arrives.

3) Q: DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE SHIPPING?

A: Price typically includes the cost of UPS ground shipping to your location. It does NOT include price of return shipping to return the costume to Fun Factory. To calculate your return shipping costs, you may use UPS.COM SHIPPING CALCULATOR TOOL  . 

You may use the return zipcode of 95138 and 16x16x16″ for standard size costumes and 18x18x18 for large sizes (see our COSTUME RENTAL page for costume sizing)

4) Q: HOW DO I RETURN THE COSTUME TO YOU AFTER MY PARTY?

A: Thanks for asking! It’s easy – just take it to your local UPS store on the Monday following your event and drop it off by 5pm your time.  UPS will provide you with a tracking # for your shipment. Email that tracking # to us at CUSTOMERCARE@FUNFACTORYPARTIES.COM (The email on our website home page and above – just click!).  You may also take a picture of your UPS dropoff receipt and email that to us if you’d like. Easy!

5) Q: WILL THE COSTUME ARRIVE IN TIME FOR MY PARTY?

A: Yes it will!  UPS ground shipping takes 7-10 days depending on your location and the item you are ordering. When you place the order you will receive a UPS tracking # so you can track your costume rental arrival online at UPS.COM. Just copy / paste your tracking # to find out EXACTLY what date your item will arrive.

6) Q: HOW DO I ORDER?
