The questions below cover important details about mascot costume rentals, including costume sizing, delivery timing, return procedures, pricing, and how to place an order. If you are ready to reserve a costume, you can also review our available options and start your rental request online.
What Size Person Can Wear an Adult Mascot Costume?
One of the most common questions customers have before ordering is whether a mascot costume will fit the person wearing it. Our costumes are designed as adult-sized character costumes with a flexible one-size-fits-most design that works well for many different body types. In general, most costumes fit adults approximately 4'11" up to 6'3" tall, with a recommended weight limit of around 250 pounds.
Because every character costume can have slightly different designs and materials, customers should consider the specific style they are ordering before their event date. Some costumes have more flexible construction, while others may have different body shapes or internal features. Reviewing our information about adult mascot costume sizes can help you choose the right option for the person who will be wearing the costume.
Most adult-sized mascot costumes are designed to allow the wearer to comfortably move around, greet guests, take pictures, participate in activities, and create fun character interactions. The person inside the costume should be able to walk safely and comfortably while representing the character during the event.
Before placing an order, customers can also review our adult mascot costume rental guide for additional information about choosing a costume, planning ahead, and understanding what to expect during the rental process.
For the best experience, we recommend selecting a costume that matches the height and build of the person who will be wearing it. Choosing the right fit helps ensure the character appearance looks great in photos and allows the wearer to interact comfortably with children, guests, or event attendees.
When Will My Mascot Costume Arrive?
Customers often ask when their mascot costume will arrive before their scheduled event. When ordered at least 10 days in advance, most costumes are shipped by UPS Ground and typically arrive 2–3 days before the event date. Receiving the costume early gives customers time to inspect the package, prepare for the celebration, and make sure everything is ready before the character appearance.
Mascot costumes can be shipped directly to a variety of locations, including homes, schools, businesses, churches, event venues, and other safe delivery addresses. Customers receive tracking information after their order is processed so they can follow the shipment and know when their costume is scheduled to arrive. For additional details about delivery timelines, planning ahead, and what to expect during shipping, review our mascot costume rental shipping information.
Because mascot costumes are shipped throughout the United States, customers do not need to be located near a local rental company to enjoy a character experience. Our nationwide mascot costume rentals make it possible for families, schools, organizations, and businesses across the country to reserve popular character costumes and have them delivered directly for their event.
Mascot costumes are shipped as a shipper release delivery, which means a signature is generally not required at the time of delivery. Customers should provide a secure delivery location and remember that they are responsible for the costume after it has been delivered. Choosing a safe location helps protect the rental and ensures the costume is ready when the event date arrives.
Planning ahead is especially important for popular characters and busy event seasons. Ordering early provides the best chance of receiving your preferred mascot costume and allows enough time for shipping, event preparation, and a smooth return process after your celebration.
How Much Does a Mascot Costume Rental Cost?
The cost of renting a mascot costume depends on several factors, including the character selected, rental availability, shipping location, event timing, and the length of time the costume is needed. Unlike hiring a live performer, a mascot costume rental allows customers to create their own character appearance while having control over the schedule and activities during their event.
Customers often ask what is included with a rental and what additional expenses they should plan for. The rental price typically covers the use of the costume and delivery to your location. Customers should also consider return shipping costs when budgeting for their event. For a more detailed breakdown of pricing factors, rental expenses, and what can affect the total investment, review our guide to mascot costume rental cost.
Many families choose mascot costumes for children's birthday parties because they create an exciting experience without requiring complicated entertainment setups. A character costume can be used for greetings, photos, games, surprises, and themed activities. Our mascot costume rentals for children's events are designed to help families, schools, and organizations create memorable celebrations with popular characters.
When planning your budget, it is helpful to reserve your costume early, especially for popular characters and high-demand seasons such as holidays, school events, and major celebration periods. Early planning provides more choices and gives you time to prepare for shipping, event activities, and the return process after your celebration.
Whether you are organizing a birthday party, school event, business promotion, church gathering, or community celebration, an adult-sized mascot costume provides a flexible entertainment option that can be customized around your specific event needs.
How Do I Return My Mascot Costume After the Event?
Returning your mascot costume after your event is a simple process. After your celebration is complete, the costume should be carefully repackaged and returned using the provided shipping instructions. Most customers return their rental by taking the package to their local UPS location on the Monday following their event and dropping it off before the daily shipping cutoff time.
Once the costume has been dropped off, UPS will provide a tracking number for the return shipment. Customers should email that tracking information to our team at customercare@funfactoryparties.com so we can monitor the return delivery. Customers may also send a photo of their UPS drop-off receipt as confirmation that the costume has been shipped back.
Following the return instructions helps ensure a smooth rental experience and allows the costume to be prepared for future customers. Keeping your tracking information until the return has been completed is always recommended. Proper packaging and timely shipment help prevent delays and protect the costume during transportation.
If you are planning an upcoming birthday party, school event, promotion, or special celebration, you can order your mascot costume online and begin the reservation process. Selecting your character early helps ensure availability and gives you time to prepare for delivery, your event activities, and the return process afterward.
